SANDWICH BREAD “SUSHI” WITH SACLÀ PEPERONATA, ROAST BEEF & CREAM CHEESE

INGREDIENTS:
- Crustless rectangular sandwich bread slices 4
- Roast beef 3.5 oz
- Saclà Pepperonata to taste
- Cream cheese 7 oz
- Chopped pistachios 3.5 oz
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
METHOD:
- Place the sandwich bread slices on a work surface and flatten them with a rolling pin
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese over each slice, then add a layer of Saclà Pepperonata, spreading it evenly with the back of a spoon
- Top with the roast beef and season lightly with olive oil, salt and black pepper, making sure not to overfill the edges
- Roll each slice up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap, sealing the ends well
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the rolls hold their shape
- Spread the outside of the rolls with the remaining cream cheese and coat completely with the finely chopped pistachios
- Slice into 1-inch pieces, arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately
